MY HEALING JOURNEY & BACKGROUND

I was first introduced to BodyTalk in 2020, during a time of deep seeking and introspection. I had been immersed in weeks of research on natural healing modalities, intuitively searching for a new direction in my career; one that still allowed me to serve others and support their healing, but in a more holistic and heart-centered way.

At the time, I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted. Life felt heavy. I was navigating high levels of stress and chronic fatigue, and my emotional resilience was worn thin. Small changes in my environment felt overwhelming. Both my former husband and I were dealing with lingering health issues that seemed stubbornly unresolved. We had recently gone through a series of major life transitions, and amidst all that change, I found myself grieving not only past losses, but especially the loss of my own spark, my vibrant, joyful self. I didn’t recognize who I had become, and that realization was deeply unsettling.

It was in this space of surrender that I found a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner in Calgary, Alberta. We had a heartfelt phone conversation, and shortly after, I experienced my first distance BodyTalk session. It was transformative. I remember feeling as though a great weight had been lifted. Joy returned, and a renewed sense of well-being flowed through me. Something inside shifted. I felt seen, held, and whole again.

That experience opened a new path for me. I signed up for a one-day BodyTalk Access course, hoping to gather some tools to support my own healing and to explore whether this path might be aligned as a new career. Within just a couple of weeks, I noticed that more than half of the stress, anger, and fatigue I’d been carrying had melted away. Encouraged and inspired, I continued on to complete more training, eventually becoming a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner through the International BodyTalk Association.

Since then, so much has changed. My health has steadily improved, my relationships have deepened, my body carries less pain, and I've found my way back to the joy and lightness that once felt lost. I feel more like myself again; aligned, grounded, and alive.

As my practice evolved, I began offering Intuitive Readings, Akashic Records sessions, Channeled Readings, as well as coaching and inner child healing. These offerings became sacred containers for transformation, gently guiding others through their own healing and growth.

By 2025, I felt called to soften further into an even more spacious and intuitive way of working; one that transcended form and leaned into pure harmonic resonance. I now offer sessions that support individuals in attuning to their own physical, emotional, mental, and energetic balance in a deeply gentle yet powerful way. Rather than offering solutions, I hold the space, a mirror of resonance, so that each person may see themselves more clearly, and remember their own innate wisdom. Restoration and healing unfold naturally through these attunements, often catching people by surprise. There’s a softness to the process, a sense of ease that replaces the old pressure to "fix" or "solve" something. Instead of efforting toward healing, it simply begins to happen gracefully and without force.

Before BodyTalk entered my life, I spent 13 years in Calgary’s non-profit sector, working with diverse communities including individuals experiencing homelessness, those navigating addiction and mental health challenges, people with special needs, and women transitioning out of sexual exploitation. Whether in leadership roles or one-on-one support, I’ve always been drawn to human connection and to walking beside others through transformation. Witnessing resilience rise from hardship was, and continues to be, profoundly humbling.

During that season, I completed a Professional Life Coaching course through Erickson College in Vancouver and became a certified “Leading From Your Strengths” Facilitator via Ministry Insights in Arizona. I’ve woven both of these trainings into workshops and team-building initiatives, helping people understand themselves and each other, communicate with more grace, and thrive in collaborative environments. These tools have been especially powerful for couples and teams, providing language for both self-awareness and relational growth.

Prior to the above, another chapter of my journey unfolded across the world, where I spent nearly a decade volunteering with Youth With A Mission in Perth, Australia. I had the privilege of leading and mentoring young people on outreach assignments throughout Australia, Africa, and Asia. These years were filled with purpose, adventure, and profound growth.

Today, I call Calgary home. I cherish meaningful connection, the beauty of nature, travel, the joy of singing, and yes, chocolate too. :)
